Do you have a favourite time of day to be out for a walk? I love the late afternoon sun as it lowers and casts a slightly golden light, especially if I am out for a walk and surrounded by trees. I just love those little sparkles of light that twinkle when the leafy canopy rustles in the breeze, it always feels so magical to me.
This painting followed a beautiful family walk in Horsted Common, Surrey. It was an early Summer’s evening and very warm, the dog had cooled off in the water and was happily trotting along exploring the undergrowth here and there…time felt suspended as we enjoyed each other’s company and our beautiful surroundings.
Giclee fine art reproduction produces archival quality high resolution prints, with stunning colour clarity. I am working with a fine art printer in order to offer outstanding quality prints, on either PH neutral fine art paper or stretched cotton canvas. The 45mm deep frames of the canvas prints are constructed by hand from FSC* approved timber. The Forest Stewardship Council* is recognised by WWF as the “hallmark of responsible forest management”.
