Inspired on a beautiful Autumnal dog walk I started creating a little poem, which grew into this painting when we got home…
With a bodice of birch and skirts of gold
She arrives on cool morning mist
Her amber gaze lifts hearts young and old
Calls leaves to dance, they can’t resist
Joining wild delight, fiery flight
Autumn’s Queen reigns ’til Winter’s night
